Who we are
This Cookie Policy explains how Mediasphere uses cookies on mediasphere.digital (the “website”). “Mediasphere” is the trading name of MUREȘAN O. ANDREI PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ, a Romanian sole trader registered with the Romanian Trade Registry under No. F40/1944/2022, sole registration code (CUI) 46088338, Bucharest, Romania. Our Privacy Policy has our full details and explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
Under Romanian Law No. 506/2004, a website can store cookies without your consent only when they are needed to provide something you asked for. Every other cookie needs your consent first.
The cookies we use
We use two kinds of cookies.
Hosting platform cookies. Our website runs on Emergent Labs, which sets two cookies when a page loads. One identifies your current visit, and the other recognizes your browser when you return. We don't use them to track you or for advertising.
Analytics cookies. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog tell us how visitors use the website, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. These cookies load only after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner. If you decline, they are not set.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __emg_sid | Emergent Labs | Identifies your current visit | Hosting platform | Up to 2 weeks |
| __emg_vid | Emergent Labs | Recognizes your browser on return visits | Hosting platform | Up to 12 months |
| _ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can measure site use | Analytics, only with consent | Up to 2 years | |
| _ga_0P01DC449Z | Keeps track of the current visit | Analytics, only with consent | Up to 2 years | |
| ph_phc_ followed by a project key | PostHog | Assigns a device ID so we can measure how the site is used | Analytics, only with consent | Up to 12 months |
Many browsers, including Chrome and Edge, limit cookies to about 13 months, so the durations above may be shorter in practice. We keep analytics data for up to 14 months. Google and PostHog may process this data in the United States, under the safeguards described in the International transfers section of our Privacy Policy.
We don't use advertising or social media tracking cookies.
Third party tools
When you open our booking tool to schedule a discovery call, Cal.com loads its booking page and may set its own cookies to make booking work. Those cookies are controlled by Cal.com and covered by Cal.com's privacy policy, not by us. If we add other embedded content in the future, we'll update this policy first.
How to manage your choices
You can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit the website, and your choice is saved in your browser so we don't ask on every visit. You can change your mind at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and it stops analytics cookies from being set from then on.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the website may not remember your choices, and we'll ask you again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
When we change the cookies we use, we update this policy and the “Last updated” date at the top. If we add a cookie that needs your consent, we'll ask for it again. The current version is always available at mediasphere.digital/cookies.
